Hello! I found what seems to be a bug with custom audio in the web version of RPG Paper Maker.

Problem:
Custom music can be imported successfully and plays normally in the editor preview, but it does not play in the actual game runtime.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open RPG Paper Maker in the web browser.
  2. Import any custom MP3 or OGG music file.
  3. Assign it as the map music.
  4. Use the preview button in the editor: the music plays correctly.
  5. Run the game: the custom music does not play.

Important observations:

  • Built-in Basic Resource music works correctly in the game.
  • If I export a built-in music track and then import the exact same file back as a custom resource, it stops working in the game, although it still works in the preview player.
  • I reproduced the issue both on iPad in a browser and on a desktop PC in a browser.
  • The same custom audio file works immediately in the native desktop RPG Paper Maker application.
  • I tested both MP3 and OGG.
  • With OGG, the web version can display this warning:

Warning: No file extension was found. Consider using the "format" property or specify an extension.

So this seems specific to the web version + custom audio resources, not to the audio file itself.

Expected behavior:
Custom music imported in the web editor should play in the game runtime the same way as built-in music.

Actual behavior:
Custom music plays in the editor preview but is silent in the game.

If needed, I can provide a test project and the audio files used for reproduction.
